  • About Me

Elisha Naiditch, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a broad range of experience providing counseling to individuals and couples. I graduated from Wurzweiler School of Social Work and subsequently trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and over 100 hours of education related directly to Substance Abuse Counseling. Continuing education is a serious matter for me and as such I participate in weekly supervision to guide and inform my clinical practice. I have provided clinical services in a High School setting, community mental health clinics and as a private practitioner. My current focus is on treating anxiety, depression, PTSD and substance abuse. I feel most strongly suited for adolescents and older adults struggling with anxiety and depression. These feelings may stem from past trauma or from being stuck and not manifesting one’s full potential. In addition I am skilled in working with couples struggling to communicate.

    What you can expect

The first couple of sessions will most likely be devoted to collecting information and trying to understand the context, both present and historic, of your struggles. As the sessions continue, we will focus on specific challenges and together we will develop strategies to help you feel better. My style is eclectic, incorporating behavioral methods as well as psychodynamic insight oriented discussion. I embody the principles of unconditional positive regard and respect for self determination. Some clients find homework can be helpful but it’s not mandatory. All that is required to start is a recognition that you could be more than you are now. Consultations are free! Therapy works! Call now and start becoming a better version of yourself!
